One of my favorite memories of our media project 2010 is how Zombies ended up in our film. I have to admit that I was not a big fan of the undead. When we met in order to come up with ideas for the story, Zombies were mentioned very early in the session. I dismissed them. I couldn't see the point. About ten/fifteen minutes later - after various other ideas had been presented - someone suggested Zombies again. Hmmm. Still didn't sound much better.
Just like the undead, this suggestion returned and returned and, well, what could I do? Especially since now those Zombies would DANCE! I mean, DANCING ZOMBIES? Who could resist their charm? And the apparent enthusiasm of the team... unbeatable.
Anke put together the music and, together with Selma and Izeta, a choreography was developed. I wonder what those students leaving their lectures thought of our practicing the dance moves Wednesday evenings in the Audimax?
Shooting the Zombies was almost the last point in our schedule. Friday afternoon in June. It was HOT! The weather, how Izeta and Selma transformed our regular students into the undead, and how they danced. Wow! Great job!
Wiebke, Ulrike, Christoph, Izeta and Kathi (left to right) as well as Christine, Timm and Bianka were the dancing Zombies.
